A New Leaf 2014

After turning down two roles offered, Park Min Young decided to take the role of a law firm intern Lee Ji Yoon in MBC drama A New Leaf. The drama was about a smart lawyer (played by Kim Myung Min) who suffered an amnesia due to accident. Lee Ji Yoon was there to help him track back his previous life. I'd say this was a good choice considering she never played a lawyer before and this gave her a chance to play a more serious and mature role. I like it when Min Young works with senior actors as this gives her an opportunity to stretch more her acting skills and learn from them. I don't say Min Young's acting is bad, but her younger-than-her-age beautiful face makes her a typecast for highschool girl roles and people expect her to be paired with younger leading man. I think it's about time that Min Young take a more bolder move in picking roles she play. What role do you want her to take next?
