Beautiful Gumiho came to town

Lee Myung Ok came from a powerful family, with a secret. Legend has it that her family's prosperity was due to them being the descendant of nine-tailed fox or Gumiho. Only females turned into this scary creature. When a girl reached puberty, she will undergo a ritual and be tested to know if she carries the genes. Then she will be "married off". Or so they thought. But the curious Myung Ok discovered something else. The marriage was just a "front". The bride was actually sacrificed to nourish the patriarch (oldest member of the family) so he can prolong his life by eating the Gumiho's liver, eow! Myung Ok took her revenge!

Park Min Young is Lee Myung Ok. A young and curious girl who also dreamed to be married someday. She long suspected something was not right. But when her older sister was killed she couldn't take it anymore. She turned into a Gumiho and avenged the death of the innocent girls who were sacrificed for the so called "family tradition".

This drama may look scary but with Minyoung's playfulness I'm sure she enjoyed filming this and playing Gumiho :-)

Hometown Legend is a series of independent ghost stories. Each episode has its own story. The Return of Gumiho is the first episode of 2008 series. 

Trivia: Minyoung won the KBS Best Actress award - One Act series for this drama.

Minyoung for The Face Shop 2011

The Korean cosmetic brand The Face Shop is known to select only famous faces to endorse their brand. Not only that Park Min Young became the face of this cosmetic brand in 2011, she endorsed the product with very hot oppa Won Bin. How can a girl be so lucky?

Trivia: Park Min Young and Won Bin also endorsed the clothing brand Basic House in 2012. However, Minyoung's product lines were meant for China market so you don't actually see them together on the same print ads.

How can Minyoung be not the object of envy and jealousy among female fans? She has been paired with almost all the hottest oppa in Korea. This time with Kim Hyun Joong!

Flawless. That's the best word to describe Park Min Young's smooth and milky white skin. She was chosen by Anya Cosmetics (China) to be the product spokesperson in 2012 and to represent Anya Cosmetics in Shanghai Cosmetics Expo.
